Recall that a tumultuous crowd welcomed Buhari home at Daura on Monday, May 29, 2023, after he left office.

The town has also produced several heads of agencies and parastatals at the national level due to the ex-president’s position at the time.

Henry Dede, a data analyst, reacts, saying:

”It’s one thing building all these; it’s another thing setting maintenance schemes in place. All these will be stories in a couple of years without a working system.”

Mark Njoku, a communications expert, said:

”That shows that Buhari was a selfish leader. Someone like him is not supposed to be the president of Nigeria. His leadership caused hatred and division among ethnic groups. Having retired, the next thing for him is to join his ancestors and give an account of his stewardship to God.”
