Incumbent governor of Bauchi state, Bala Muhammed representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of the state governorship election
Mohammed scored 525,280 votes to beat his closest rival Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who had 432,272 votes.
In Taraba state, the PDP’s Kefas Agbu won the governorship polls as he garnered 302,614 votes to defeat the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate Muhammad Yahaya who had 202,277 votes.

In Kaduna state, Senator Uba Sani will become Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s successor as he was declared winner of the gubernatorial polls.
Under the umbrella of the APC Uba Sani scored 730,002 votes to defeat his closest rival Ashiru Isa of the PDP who had 719,196 votes. Jonathan Asake of the Labour Party (LP) came third with 21,405 votes.
In Borno, Governor Babagana Zulum secured his re-election into office as he was declared the winner of the state’s gubernatorial election.
Zulum had a landslide victory as he polled 545,543 while Mohammed Jajari of the PDP was second with 82,147 votes.
