The coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Eric Chelle, has released his squad list ahead of the remaining 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Lesotho and the Benin Republic.
The squad features a strong mix of Europe-based stars with key players such as Alex Iwobi (Fulham), Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), and Wilfred Ndidi (Besiktas) expected to play pivotal roles.
The list included: Semi Ajayi, Felix Agu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze, Simon Moses, Stanley Nwabali, and Captain William Troost-Ekong.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Lesotho in Matchday 9 of the World Cup qualifiers on Friday, October 10, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa.
They will next take a plane from South Africa to Akwa Ibom’s capital, Uyo, where they will play the leaders, Benin Republic, in a fierce matchday finale on Tuesday, October 14.
