“Hello from Abuja, Nigeria! It is with great honor that I will represent the President of the United States of America tomorrow at the inauguration of His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, marking a significant milestone for Nigeria.”
Responding, one of her followers, Franklin Nwachu wrote:
”Secretary Marcia, It is very hypocritical for you to be in the U.S. delegation to the inauguration of a corrupt politician who rigged the election, and the whole election is in contention in court. Why will U.S. offer moral support to drug dealer Tinubu?”
Alli Moshood, however, thanked the U.S. delegation for coming. He wrote:
”It is important to state that a lot of Nigerians trusted Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s track record and ability to create a developmental roadmap that will continue for years. He is our president, and thank you for identifying with our great country.”
Another excited Nigerian was Gbolade Ogundele who tweeted:
”Welcome to Nigeria, the giant of Africa. We’re glad you came, we love and celebrate you all.”
