Abbey Mortgage Bank PLC has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. to review the bank’s unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2025.
In a statement released by Company Secretary Geoff Amaghereonu, made available on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) Wednesday, the bank confirmed it has implemented mandatory trading restrictions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
“In compliance with Rule 17.18 (a) of the Nigerian Exchange Limited’s (NGX) Closed Period Rules as amended, the Bank commenced a Closed Period for transactions in the shares of the Bank by insiders from 1st October 2025 and will continue until twenty-four (24) hours after the Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30th September, 2025 are released to the public via NGX’s Issuers’ Portal,” Amaghereonu stated.
The bank notified all affected parties at the start of the month. “Notice of the Closed period was given to all insiders on 1st October 2025,” Amaghereonu confirmed.
The trading blackout applies broadly across the organization. “During the Closed Period, no insider, including Directors, employees, and other related parties, may directly or indirectly deal with the shares of the Bank,” Amaghereonu explained.
News.ng reports that the closed period will remain in effect until 24 hours after the Q3 financial results are publicly disclosed through the Nigerian Exchange’s official portal.
