Popular actor Hanks Anuku has told Nigerians that he will be contesting for the office of the presidency.
Hanks made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with Premium Times, where he also dismissed rumours that he was mentally ill.
Although the actor did not state which party he would contest the presidency, he said he would announce the party when the time was right.
“I am alive, sane, strong, blessed and wealthy. I will be contesting as President of Nigeria,” he said.
“We’ll announce that in due course in the appropriate dispensation. For now, we’re rooting for Peter Obi’s presidency.”
Hanks stated that he is currently in Asaba at the moment, and doing ok.
In another news, controversial musician Portable has beat up Manny Monie, a singer registered under his Zeh Nation record label, for allegedly using the services of music distributors.
A clip uploaded on Twitter showed Portable slapping and kicking the artist for allegedly double-crossing him after signing a contract.
Portable, in the clip, recounted how he spent money on the signee by buying clothes and phones and promoting him.
