Actress Tonto Dikeh withdraws from Rivers state governorship election

Nollywood actress, and politician Tonto Dikeh stepped down from the Rivers state governorship election after her party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), collapsed its structure for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a post via her Instagram handle, Tonto Dikeh disclosed that her party had adopted Pastor Tonye Cole of the APC as the consensus governorship candidate to unify the opposition.

She explained that Tonye Cole would form a unity government comprising the APC and other opposition parties in this alliance titled upon his victory.

The actress then called on her supporters to vote for Tonye Cole of the APC  in the Saturday, March 18 governorship election.

In another news, Tonto Dikeh has celebrated her son, King Andre, over his excellent academic performance in school.

In a video posted via her Instagram handle, the actress shared clips showing her son’s scripts from the school where he passed his exams.

The mother of one described her son as a smart child who would achieve more than she has.
