Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has been named as Atalanta FC’s Player of The Month for May and June having scored six goals and three assists in the months under review.
Recall how the Nigerian international made headlines when he scored a hat-trick to help Atalanta defeat Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final.
This comes days after it was reported that top-flight German Bundesliga clubside Bayern Munich coached by Vincent Kompany signaled its intention to sign the Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman ahead of next season.
This much was revealed according to Sky Sports transfer expert, Florian Plettenberg, who informed that Bayern Munich has discussed internally about signing the player.

Plettenberg noted that a summer transfer is possible but Lookman only wants to join a top club with the price valuation of the 26-year-old player said to be around €25-30 million.
“Lookman | A transfer in summer is possible but the 26 y/o striker only wants to join a top club,” Plettenberg wrote on X.
“Understand his price valuation is around €25-30m. Contract with @Atalanta_BC valid until 2026.
“Bayern have discussed Lookman in recent weeks but so far, it has never been concrete.”
