Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has been named in the Serie A Team of the Week following his standout performance for Atalanta in their 1-1 draw against AC Milan on Tuesday night, reports Completesports.com.

Lookman opened his goal account for the season with a composed finish that brought Atalanta level after AC Milan’s early lead. Beyond the goal, the winger delivered an all-round impressive display—completing three successful dribbles, creating three key passes, and maintaining an 84 per cent pass accuracy throughout the match.

The 27-year-old was the only Atalanta player to make the Team of the Week, further underlining his impact in Gian Piero Gasperini’s setup.

Other notable names in the selection include Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus) and Federico Bonazzoli (Cremonese) in attack, while Napoli goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic was recognised between the sticks.

The defence features Mergim Vojvoda (Como), Federico Gatti (Juventus), and Mario Hermoso (AS Roma), with the midfield quartet comprising Nicolo Zaniolo (Udinese), Zambo Anguissa (Napoli), Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter Milan), and Samuele Ricci (Torino).

Lookman’s inclusion in the Serie A Team of the Week highlights his growing influence at Atalanta as he aims to build momentum for both club and country in the months ahead.
