Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman scored a goal and provided an assist to send his top-flight Italian Serie A team, Atalanta, into the final of the 2024 Europa Cup.
His teammate C. De Ketelare provided the assist for Lookman to score the opening goal in the 30th minute in their Europa Cup semifinal second-leg clash against Marseille on Thursday.
The two other goals for the hosts came from Ruggeri and Yaya Toure in the 52nd and 94th minutes, respectively, as they beat Marseille 4-1 on aggregate to advance to the final.

After advancing to the Europa Cup final, the Serie A powerhouses managed by Gian Piero Gasperini will now take on Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
The German side, tutored by Spanish coach Xabi Alonso, also advanced to the final after fighting back to play a 2-2 draw against AS Roma in the second leg of their semifinal tie in Germany.
By defeating AS Roma 2-0 in the first leg played last week in Rome, Italy, Bayer Leverkusen has thus advanced to the final with an overall aggregate score of 4-2.
