Belgium midfielder Albert Sambi-Lokonga is set to undergo a medical as a new Sevilla player on loan from Arsenal in a deal worth €12 million with a buy option clause confirmed.
This was made known in a post shared on X by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who also disclosed that Arsenal will also have a 25% sell-on clause in case Sevilla will make the deal permanent.
Lokonga who spent last season on loan at Luton Town is eagerly expecting the deal to pull through as he hopes to revive his career which seemed stagnant at some point.

In a related development, Arsenal will receive the sum €9m loan with a mandatory buy clause and sell-on clause for left-back Nuno Tavarez as he closes in on a move to Lazio.
This was made known in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano who also revealed that a verbal agreement on a five-year deal has been agreed between Italian club Lazio FC and the player.
Romano also noted that Tavarez will travel to Italy this weekend for medical if all goes to plan with formal documents set to be signed ahead of the deal which will elapse in June 2029.
