The Falconets of Nigeria have advanced to the semi-finals of the female football event of the ongoing All African Games taking place in Accra, Ghana.
The coach Christopher Danjuma tutored the side to the top position in Group B after thrashing Senegal 4-0 in their second group match on Monday night.
In the game against Senegal, the Falconets scored as early as the 13th minute through Loveth Ede and Motunrayo Ezekiel later made it 2-0 on 50 minutes.
The score line became 3-0 in favour of Falconets when a Senegalese player scored an own goal on 51 minutes while Chioma Olise made it 4-0 on 80 minutes.
Recall that the U-20 female national team defeated their Moroccan counterparts 2-0 in their first match of the ongoing All-African Games.
