Tough-tackling Belgium midfielder Amadou Onana has signed the dotted lines on a deal that will see him move from Everton Football Club to fellow EPL side Aston Villa.
The 22-year-old player has joined Villa for around £ 50 million and has become their record signing as the club prepares for their return to the Champions League.
Onana joined Everton in 2022 for £33 million and has made 72 appearances for the club, playing a major role in their fight against relegation.
In their official announcement, Aston Villa emphasized their joy at their signing, saying, “Aston Villa is delighted to announce the signing of Amadou Onana from Everton.”

“I’ll be playing in the Champions League again and that’s very exciting,” said Onana.
“We also have a manager that’s one of the best in the business and I think he can take my game to the next level.”
As Emery assembles a Champions League-caliber squad, the Belgian joins Ross Barkley, Ian Maatsen, Jaden Philogene, Samuel Iling-Junior, Cameron Archer, and Enzo Barrenechea as summer arrivals.
