Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels got a backlash from Nigerians after she shared a video showing her sons depositing the new naira notes into a piggy bank.
In a now-deleted clip, the mother of two said saving in piggy banks has been one of her best habits and she wants to impact the same in the lives of her boys at an early stage.
The mother of two and her children were seen in the footage unwrapping bundles of new notes and putting them inside the savings box.
“Anyone that knows me, knows my love for piggy bank savings. And now, i’ve got my boys on board, it’s not too early for them to adopt the habit of saving….. Although kharl is but it’s okay 😂….. I can’t wait for the excitement when we finally open our piggy bank at the end of the year 💃💃💃 @princekhalifanwoko @princemunirnwoko.”
The video however sparked outrage from social media following the naira scarcity currently ravaging the country.
Angry Nigerians accused her of being one of the rich people hoarding the new naira notes from the public. The backlash prompted the actress to delete the video from her Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Regina Daniels has promised that she will never leave her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
The mother of two made the promise on valentine’s day when she and her husband took a ride in his car.
In a clip uploaded via her TikTok handle, the actress made the statement when singing the latest hit track by Spiro, “Who’s your guy.”
In reaction, her husband smiled as his wife assured him of her love for him.
