French midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly suffered yet another injury setback, casting fresh doubt over his long-awaited debut for AS Monaco.
The 31-year-old, who joined the Ligue 1 side earlier this year after leaving Juventus, is said to have picked up a muscular problem during training—further extending his spell on the sidelines.
According to sources close to the club, Pogba felt discomfort in his thigh during a midweek session and was immediately withdrawn for medical assessment.
Early indications suggest the issue could keep him out for several more weeks, a significant blow both for the player and for Monaco, who had hoped to finally integrate the World Cup winner into their midfield setup before the end of the month.
