Italian professional football manager and former player Antonio Conte has verbally agreed to become the next coach of Italian Serie A side Napoli ahead of next season.
Per respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Conte, who was most recently the head coach of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, has agreed to take the Napoli job.
Romano noted in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that an agreement has already been reached on every detail, including add-ons, a fixed salary, image rights, and staff members.

‘‘Conte will sign the contract valid until June 2027, documents approved.
‘‘Huge appointment for Napoli.’’ Romano wrote on his official X handle.
Before becoming a notable Juventus player, Conte began his career with Lecce, winning multiple titles including five Serie A championships and a UEFA Champions League. He captained Juventus from 1996 to 2001.
Furthermore, Conte, born on July 31, 1969, represented Italy in the UEFA Euro 2000 and the 1994 FIFA World Cup, where Italy finished second both times.
