The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its warm appreciation to Nigerian workers on the occasion of the Workers’ Day celebration.
In a statement issued today by Felix Morka, Esq, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, the party lauded Nigerian workers’ resilience, sacrifice, diligence, and patriotism in contributing to the nation’s economic growth and development.
Recognizing their invaluable efforts, the party emphasized workers’ crucial role in realizing the collective aspirations for sustainable economic transformation.
Under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, the APC reiterated its unwavering commitment to enhancing the welfare of Nigerian workers.
The party highlighted recent initiatives, including delisting the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) and wage awards for several months.
”Additionally, negotiations are underway to approve a new living minimum wage for workers, reflecting the government’s dedication to improving workers’ conditions,” the APC said.
The APC emphasized its broader economic policies to expand opportunities and benefits for workers and all Nigerians.
”These policies, designed to foster economic growth and prosperity, underscore the administration’s commitment to building a stronger nation,” the party added.
The APC urged workers to continue supporting and collaborating with the government to create a conducive economic development and prosperity environment.
