Arsenal Lift Premier League Trophy After 22 Years as Spurs Saved from Relegation Zone

Arsenal Football Club lifted the Premier League for the first time in 22 years after they were declared champions following Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth last Tuesday, news.ng reports. 

Arsenal was officially crowned champion after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 on the final day of the 2025-26 season. 

Elsewhere, Manchester United secured third place and qualified for the UEFA Champions League by beating Brighton and Hove Albion 3-0. 

Aston Villa and Liverpool secured qualification for European football. 

Tottenham Hotspur was saved from the relegation zone after a narrow 1-0 victory over Everton; West Ham, Burnley, and Wolverhampton Wanderers were demoted.
