English Premier League (EPL) side Arsenal will receive the sum of €9m loan with a mandatory buy clause and sell-on clause for left-back Nuno Tavares as he closes in on a move to Lazio.
This was made known in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano who also revealed that a verbal agreement on a five-year deal has been agreed between Italian club Lazio FC and the player.
Romano also noted that Tavares will travel to Italy this weekend for medical if all goes to plan with formal documents set to be signed ahead of the deal which will elapse in June 2029.

Lazio Director Angelo Fabiani confirmed the deal, expressing confidence in signing Tavares from Arsenal.
Fabiani told Noi Biancocelesti that Lazio is highly interested in a player and is in talks with Arsenal about him.
