English Premier League side Fulham FC has signed Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe for a club record fee of £35m (an initial fee of £27m with the potential of £7m in add-ons)
This was made known in a report published by BBC Sport which disclosed that the add-ons for the 23-year-old player are based on Cup and European success for the Cottagers.
His move to Fulham follows similar movements of Arsenal players including Albert Sambi Lokonga who has joined Sevilla and Nuno Tavares who has secured a move to Lazio.
Smith-Rowe’s move to Fulham was earlier reported by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who revealed that talks are ongoing between the two clubs to get the deal done.

Romano disclosed in the post shared on X that Fulham is now ahead of Crystal Palace in the move to sign the player who is also interested in playing for the club.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta also commented on the future of Smith-Rowe who is set to agree personal terms and undergo a medical before being unveiled by Fulham.
He said; “Yeah things are happening in the background at the moment. We decided the best thing to do was to keep him away from the game today.”
