The People’s Democratic Party Presidential campaign in Anambra state has revealed their strategy to ensure that they emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections in February.

The Director General of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Management Committee, Obiora Okonkwo, revealed in a press conference in Awka, that the party is working hard to win Anambra and Southeast as always.

Okonkwo said: “We are taking the ‘One Ward, Minimum of One Thousand Votes” campaign to the 326 wards in Anambra State in order to make the campaign’s theme ‘Win As Always’ practical and impactful. With the inauguration of ward and polling booth canvassers, which will be launched officially on the 18th of January, our gospel of recovery will be preached to every available Anambra voter.”

Okonkwo added that the party’s canvassers will do all they can to achieve the ‘one ward, one thousand votes’ and would preach the gospel of the recovery and rescue agenda to every Anambra electorate.

Atiku will be having his hands full on February 25, when he competes with the All People’s Progressive Congress’ Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

During the 2019 presidential election in Anambra, Atiku won all 21 polling units to emerge the winner ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari who was runner-up.

In Abia state, Atiku recorded a landslide win, the same occurred in Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo respectively with the PDP stamping their authority in the Southeast.
