An autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, revealed that the three-year-old boy died from drowning.

The Lagos state police command made the disclosure to the press on Saturday, November 5.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the command, confirmed the findings of the autopsy report to The Punch newspaper.

“Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy (Ifeanyi) drowned,” he said.

At press time, the cook and the nanny responsible for the boy’s wellbeing were still held in custody over the minor’s death.

Also, the Instagram account of Ifeanyi Adeleke has been made private following his demise.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have continued to send condolence messages to Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, over the death of their son.

Reports have it that the singer and his fiancée are currently mourning the death of their son at his father’s residence, away from friends.
