Raving music sensation, Ayra Starr, has tendered a mocking apology to critics who called her out for wearing a skimpy skirt during a live performance.

The singer made the sarcastic apology in a voice note circulating on social media.

Ayra Starr also uploaded a video of her performance in the short skits, generating controversy.

She said:

“O no, wow, I will never do it again. I will never wear short skirts.”

After her apology, she was heard laughing in the background and saying she does not have time for hate and bad energy because her mind is on her money.

In another news, fans had a double dose of fun when popular singer Wizkid and his female colleague, Ayra Starr, charmed the audience at an Apple Music live event.

The duo were videoed singing “First Ever 2 Sugar,” a new song released by Wizkid, to the cheers of fans.

Ayra Starr, popularly referred to as the celestial being, was seen wearing a short skirt, long boots and a white top. At a point during the performance, fans shouted as she wined her waist to the tunes.
