Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP) has defeated singer Banky W of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the poll for Eti-Osa federal constituency seat in the house of representatives.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Thaddeus Attah won with 24,075 votes, beating Banky W of the PDP, who had 18,666 votes.
Babjide Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress (APC) secured the third spot with 16,901 votes.

According to NAN, Funmilayo Odukoya, the INEC returning officer, announced the results on Sunday evening, February 26, at the collation centre inside Lagos State Model Nursery and Primary School, Marwa, Lekki 1.
She said:
“That Thaddeus Attah of LP, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby declared winner and is returned elected; signed by me. Thank you so much.”
Meanwhile, Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has come under heavy criticism from some Nigerian fans for boycotting the 2023 presidential election.
The criticisms were triggered by a video circulating on the internet which showed the musician attending Ghanaian producer Killbeat’s late mother’s funeral in Tema, Ghana.
Some Nigerians became enraged after they spotted the clip and accused the singer of failing to support the election of capable leaders in Nigeria.
