German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich has gazumped English Premier League (EPL) club Chelsea in the race to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.
Reports say Bayern has made contact with Crystal Palace to proceed with the next steps of Olise deal and the club has also been informed of the player’s decision to join Bayern with personal terms already agreed.
This much was made known in a post shared on the X handle of transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who said that the final package expected for Olise’s transfer is around £50m as the total fee for Palace.

‘‘Bayern made contact with Crystal Palace tonight to proceed with next steps of Michael Olise deal.
‘‘Palace have also been informed of Olise’s decision to join Bayern with personal terms agreed.

In a related development, Chelsea are still keen on bringing in two more attackers in the summer transfer window after the initial deal to sign Olise collapsed.
