A former housemate of the Big Brother Naija show, Phyna, has disclosed that most internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo boys, do not give their girlfriends money.
She made the statement during a recent chat with media personality Nedu and his crew on his podcast “The Honest Bunch,” when asked if she could date a broke guy.

Phyna recalled dating a Yahoo boy who never gave her a dime even though she was broke.
She claimed he was only interested in taking her to the club to splurge his money and have fun, but he never sent money to her personal account.
The reality star noted that most ladies dating Yahoo boys do not receive any money from them and are only with them for the prestige and security of having a rich boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Phyna has stated that many celebrity marriages fail because of fame.
She told TVC in an interview that many celebrities become intoxicated with fame and begin to flaunt it in their partner’s faces.
She noted when fellow entertainers get married, there are more chances of their union to work than when they settle down with non-entertainers due to the fact that the former understands how the celebrity lifestyle work.
