Black Panther: BBNaija’s Shegz, Hermes display Wakanda customs on red carpet

Some BBNaija Level Up stars have caused a buzz on social media following the choice of costumes at the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever African premiere.

Two former housemates who stood out during the premiere in Lagos, Nigeria, on November 6, 2022, were Shegz, and Hermes.

Shegz was pictured wearing a gown with a stick in his hands to match the Wakanda fever. Hermes, on the other hand, was adorned in a dress with a cape bearing a message dedicated to the late Chadwick Boseman.

However, the attire worn by Hermes generated discussion after social media users noticed that the message dedicated to the late Chadwick Boseman misspelt the late actor’s name.

The message on it read: RIP Chad Boswick instead of Chadwick Boseman.

The typographical error became a point of reference to Twitter users, who questioned how the designer made such a blatant mistake.

A Twitter user, Sophisticated Iyaw, described the costume as ridiculous.

Another tweep, Kimmy stated: Boswick? Really?

Ssc_zhith pointed out: “Thought his name was Chadwick Boseman and not Chad Boswick.

Why did the dude in the cape spell his name that way?
