Undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk has fired a warning shot at Jake Paul, telling the American star that their paths may cross beyond the boxing ring.

Usyk, who cemented his legacy by unifying the heavyweight division with victories over Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, is determined not only to defend his throne but also to explore new challenges.

Paul, who defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. in June and outpointed former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in an eight-round fight late last year, is set to face current WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition bout this November, streamed on Netflix.

The 28-year-old influencer recently outlined his ambitious goals on social media, which include winning an Oscar, defeating Usyk, becoming a boxing world champion, “fighting on the moon,” and even launching a presidential campaign.

In July, Usyk shared the ring with Paul after defeating Britain’s Daniel Dubois for the second time at Wembley. The 38-year-old has now responded to Paul’s five-year plan.

“Good plan, Jake Paul, but I’m not here for 5th place – only first,” Usyk wrote on X.

“Soon, I’ll close the book on boxing, and after that, I’ll be waiting for you in the cage. Let’s see if you’ve got the balls, or just a hunger for hype,” he added.
