Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled his 24-man squad for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff against Gabon, recalling five key players ahead of the decisive fixture in Rabat, Morocco.

Nigeria’s squad is set to gather in Morocco this weekend, with star forwards Victor Osimhen and reigning African Player of the Year Ademola Lookman expected to spearhead the attack.

Chelle has reintegrated several players who were absent during the October international window, including:

l Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye

l Defenders Bright Osayi-Samuel and Chidozie Awaziem

l Midfielder Raphael Onyedika

l Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke

The Super Eagles will face Gabon’s Panthers in Rabat, with potential venues being the 18,000-seat El-Barid Stadium or the 22,000-capacity Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex. The final is scheduled for the Stade Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan.

Chelle’s squad blends experience and youth as Nigeria looks to secure victory and advance toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
