BUA Foods Schedules Board Meeting to Review Q3 2025 Financial Results

BUA Foods Plc has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on Thursday, October 30, 2025, to review the company’s third-quarter financial performance.

The food manufacturing giant informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and investors that the meeting will focus on examining the unaudited financial statements for the period ending September 30, 2025.

In a statement released to the exchange on Wednesday, Company Secretary Oluseye Alayande confirmed the scheduled review and outlined the regulatory procedures surrounding the announcement.

“This notice serves to inform Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public that a meeting of the Board of Directors of BUA Foods Plc (the Company) is scheduled for Thursday 30th October 2025 to consider the 3rd Quarter 2025 Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30th September, 2025 (2025 Q3 UFS) after which the Financial Statements will be simultaneously filed with the relevant regulatory bodies and released to the public,” Alayande stated.

Following the board meeting, the financial statements will be filed with regulatory authorities and made available to the public simultaneously.

The company has implemented a trading restriction period in line with NGX requirements for listed companies, which began on October 1, 2025.

“In compliance with the post listing requirements of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) for listed Companies, the closed period in respect of the 2025 Q3 UFS commenced on 1st of October, 2025 and will continue until twenty-four (24) hours after the release of the 2025 Q3 UFS,” Alayande explained.

News.ng reports that during this closed period, company insiders and individuals with access to price-sensitive information are prohibited from trading in BUA Foods shares.

“Accordingly, no insider of the Company, privileged to have sensitive information, which may materially affect the price of the securities of the Company, and persons connected to them may directly or indirectly deal in the shares of the Company, until twenty-four (24) hours after the release of the 2025 Q3 UFS to NGX and the public,” the Company Secretary added.

The trading restriction will remain in effect until 24 hours after the financial statements are publicly released, allowing the market to digest the information before insider trading resumes.

Investors and market watchers will be closely monitoring the Q3 results for insights into BUA Foods’ performance amid Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape.
