Manchester City suffered a stunning 3–1 defeat to Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in their UEFA Champions League clash on Tuesday night, in what will go down as one of the competition’s most humiliating upsets.

The Norwegian hosts struck early, with Kasper Høgh opening the scoring in the 22nd minute.

Høgh doubled Bodø/Glimt’s advantage just two minutes later, leaving the Premier League giants shell-shocked.

The visitors’ misery continued as Jens Hauge netted the third goal two minutes before the hour mark, making it an almost unbelievable 3–0 scoreline.

Manchester City pulled one back immediately through Rayan Cherki, briefly raising hopes of a comeback.

However, those hopes were dashed when Rodri received a red card in the 62nd minute, leaving Pep Guardiola’s side to play the remainder of the match with ten men.

The result leaves Manchester City facing a major uphill battle in their Champions League campaign and raises questions about their defensive vulnerability against lesser-known European sides.
