Chapel Hill Denham has been honoured as the “Best Investment Bank in Nigeria” at the 2024 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, held over the weekend in London, United Kingdom.

The recognition marks the ninth time the firm has received this accolade in the past 13 years and the second instance of winning the award for three consecutive years.

Bolaji Balogun, Chief Executive Officer of Chapel Hill Denham, expressed his gratitude in a statement: “We are honoured to be the Best Investment Bank in Nigeria, once again.

“In a year marked by limited activity prior to elections, significant transactions subsequently resulted in another very good year in which the firm maintained its culture of excellence, delivering results to our clients.

“This achievement is a tribute to our clients who entrust us with their most significant work and a recognition for all at the firm, whose hard work and dedication made this possible.”

Chapel Hill Denham operates with a focused model of investment banking and investment management.

The firm is renowned as Nigeria and Africa’s leading independent investment bank and Nigeria’s top alternative asset manager and impact investment firm.

Their business activities are directed towards sectors crucial to Nigeria and Africa’s economic growth, including Renewable Infrastructure, Real Estate, Digital and Financial Inclusion, Gender and SMEs, Healthcare, Education, and Creative and Media.

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, established in 1992, celebrate financial institutions’ achievements across global and regional markets.

Winning the Best Investment Bank in Nigeria award highlights Chapel Hill Denham’s continued leadership and innovation in the investment banking sector.

President Bola Tinubu stated that the federal government will ensure timely investments in key sectors to significantly improve the lives of Nigerian citizens.

President Tinubu reaffirmed the government’s commitment to reviving the ALSCON smelter company in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State during a meeting with the company’s management at the State House in Abuja.

“It is good to have you at this meeting. The smelter is necessary for the development of the country,’’ President Tinubu stated.
