English Premier League (EPL) side Chelsea is still exploring the many options available in the transfer market to bring in a new left-footed talented defender this summer.
This update was made known in a report shared on X (formerly Twitter) by football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who informed that Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori has been discussed internally at the club.
Romano also noted that Arsenal and Juventus are also showing interest in the signature of Calafiori.

A month ago, Chelsea’s ownership, led by Todd Boehly, expressed confidence that new coach Enzo Maresca can achieve the club’s vision and goals.
“We look forward to supporting him and the rest of the sporting team in fulfilling their potential and our expectations over the years to come”.
“He is a highly gifted coach and leader that we are confident can help fulfil our vision and competitive goals for the club.”. Chelsea ownership group said in a statement.
Maresca signs a five-year contract as Chelsea manager, aiming to return the club to the Champions League.
