Serie A powerhouse Juventus have announced the appointment of Luciano Spalletti as their new head coach following the dismissal of Igor Tudor, who failed to secure a win in his last eight games in charge.
Spalletti, who famously led Napoli to their historic Serie A title in 2023, is set to take over immediately and will be on the touchline this weekend when Juventus faces Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese.
The club confirmed the move in an official statement on Thursday, saying, “We are delighted to welcome a coach with such expertise and experience to the Bianconeri family. Welcome to Juventus, and good luck, coach!”
The decision marks Juventus’s third managerial change in 2025, underlining the instability that has plagued the Turin giants in recent months. The Bianconeri currently sit seventh in Serie A, following a 3–1 win over Udinese that offered little respite from growing scrutiny.
Spalletti’s arrival is expected to bring renewed tactical discipline and attacking fluency, with club executives hoping his proven track record can spark a turnaround in both form and morale.
