Nigerian singer Teni has sparked controversy after she was seen in a video calling her pet dog “Burna Boy.”
In a post on Instagram, the singer was seen in the video playing with her cute pet, but what caught the attention of social media users was when she called the name of the dog “Burna Boy” and the dog responded.
The clip sparked controversy because Burna Boy is the stage name of Grammy winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu.
His fans have accused Teni of insulting Burna Boy by giving his stage name to her dog.

The Grammy winner, in a social media post on Saturday, January 10, stated that he encountered the beautiful army woman on the streets but could not muster the courage to walk up to her.
He admitted that he did not know how to woo the female soldier. The singer said to avoid embarrassment; he decided to walk away instead of approaching the soldier to make his intentions known.
