Coronation Insurance Plc has announced that its Board of Directors will convene later this month to review the company’s third-quarter financial performance and approve unaudited results for the period.

In a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public on Tuesday, the insurance firm disclosed that the board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Mary Agha, Company Secretary, stated: “This is to inform Nigerian Exchange Limited (“The Exchange”) and the Investing Public that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Coronation Insurance Plc (“the Company”) is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, the 28th day of October 2025 to amongst other things review the Company’s performance for the third quarter of the 2025 Financial Year as well as to consider and approve the Company’s Q3, Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30th September 2025 (Q3, 2025 UFS).”

In accordance with exchange regulations, the company has implemented trading restrictions on its securities. Agha explained: “The Company had, in compliance with the Closed Period Rules of The Exchange, entered a Closed Period on 1st October 2025, in respect of transactions on its securities which will continue to be in force until twenty-four (24) hours after the release of the Q3, 2025 UFS to the market.”

The closed period effectively restricts company insiders from trading in Coronation Insurance shares until the financial results are publicly released. “Accordingly, all insiders of the Company are prohibited from dealing in the Company’s securities during the Closed Period,” Agha added.

News.ng reports that the closed period is a standard regulatory measure designed to prevent insider trading and ensure all market participants have equal access to material financial information before trading decisions are made.

Investors and market watchers will be awaiting the release of the Q3 results, which will provide insights into the company’s performance during the July-September 2025 period.
