The company disclosed this in a notice signed by its Company Secretary, Edward Imoedemhe, and addressed to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and stakeholders on Tuesday.
“This is to inform Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and all stakeholders that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Dangote Cement Plc (‘the Company’) will be held on October 30, 2025, to discuss various matters, including the Unaudited Financial Statements for the quarter ending September 30, 2025 (2025 Q3 UFS),” Imoedemhe stated.
In line with regulatory requirements, Dangote Cement also announced the commencement of a Closed Trading Period effective October 1, 2025. The restriction will remain in force until 24 hours after the company’s Q3 2025 results and the board’s resolutions are publicly released.
“The Closed Trading Period applies to all parties that may at any time possess sensitive information that may materially affect the price of the securities of the Company. Accordingly, no Insider may deal in the Company’s securities during the Closed Trading Period,” Imoedemhe explained.
The closed trading window is designed to prevent insider trading and ensure transparency as the company prepares to release its financial results.
