The international community known as Amnesty International said that the death toll of the accidental military bombings on civilians in Kaduna has risen to 120 persons.
The bombing occurred a few days ago in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of the State.
Others around the area who survived the accident said they were bombed twice by the military drone.
News.ng learnt that the airstrikes which were aimed at neutralizing terrorists landed on innocent civilians who were celebrating Maulud on Sunday evening.
The National Emergency Management Agency [NEMA] reported that 85 persons feared death, and 66 others were injured.
Isah Sanusi, the country director for Amnesty International, verified the death toll, claiming that more than 120 people died in the explosion.
They also reported that the massive burial ground contained about 77 persons each, claiming that the information released by NEMA might be incorrect.
The Arewa Consultative Forum [ACF] and the Jama’atu Nasril Islam [JNI] also called on the government to investigate and arrest the culprits involved.
The president has also expressed his sadness over the incident and ordered immediate investigations.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba, in a statement to journalists, said the military would carry out investigations immediately.
