Hon. Bello El-Rufai, representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, has entered into an unprecedented partnership with Connected Development, a leading social accountability initiative in a landmark move signalling a shift towards increased transparency in government operations.
The groundbreaking collaboration aims to revolutionize the implementation of constituency projects and foster a new era of accountable governance within the constituency.
It seeks to address concerns over the effective utilization of public funds and improve community-driven project execution.
Hamzat Lawal, the convener of Connected Development, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, “Our goal is not only to sign paper commitments but to ensure improved engagement between citizens and their representatives.”
Lawal emphasized the importance of selecting projects that genuinely address constituents’ needs and monitoring implementation for quality and transparency.
