Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, became the joint-quickest Red Devils manager to win 50 games in all competitions on Saturday when his club defeated Fulham 1-0 in the Premier League.
In the 2022–2023 season, Ten Hag’s first season as Manchester United’s head coach was largely successful.
In his 62 games in command of M-United throughout all competitions, the Dutchman has 42 victories overall.
In addition, he helped them win the Carabao Cup and advance to the UEFA Champions League.
However, the club has had mixed results this season, having lost eight of their first sixteen games.
But Bruno Fernandes’ injury-time goal against Fulham made sure Ten Hag tied a historic record at United.
Alongside Ernest Mangnall, the former Ajax coach has become the fastest Manchester United manager in history to reach 50 wins, having done it in just 78 games, according to @UtdXclusive.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rounds out the podium with 92 games, followed by current AS Roman boss Jose Mourinho in second place with 81 games.
