Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima over the recent ruling by the presidential election tribunal court.

The Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal had affirmed President Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shetimma of the ruling All Progressives Congress’ victory as duly elected in the presidential election on February 25, 2023.

The former vice president wrote in a statement that he personally signed, “The verdict is a huge triumph for Nigeria’s constitutional democracy and the rule of law.

He claimed that the fact that all parties diligently followed the electoral process in accordance with the law and depended on our courts in the event of a dispute has strengthened the practice of democracy in our country.

The five-judge panel led by Justice Haruna Tsammani’s decision, according to the former vice president, is a significant win for Nigeria’s constitutional democracy and the rule of law.

The former VP, therefore, urged the public to cooperate with President Tinubu’s administration in addressing the problems facing the country.
