FirstHoldCo Plc has unveiled a comprehensive restructuring of board leadership across its non-banking entities, marking a significant step in the organisation’s corporate governance evolution. Following clearance from the Securities and Exchange Commission (NAIGOM) and the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), the financial services conglomerate has installed experienced professionals across multiple subsidiary boards, news.ng reports.
This was disclosed in a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Friday.
The leadership overhaul represents a calculated effort to inject world-class expertise into the Group’s governance framework while preparing these entities for expanded market opportunities and long-term sustainability.
The appointments draw from a pool of accomplished industry veterans whose collective expertise spans finance, capital markets, wealth management, and various specialised sectors.

First Asset Management Limited has welcomed Ebikabo Williams as Board Chairman, leveraging her extensive background across banking, capital markets, and advisory services. Supporting her leadership are board members Usman Dantata Jr., Binta Max Gbinije, and Alero Mobola Adollo. This reconstituted board is positioned to strengthen the firm’s standing as a leading force in Nigeria’s asset management industry.
FirstCap Limited has appointed Yewande Amusan as its new Chairman. Her credentials span both government and private sector finance. The board also includes newly appointed members Ahmed Indimi, Irene Akpofure, Adenike Kuti, and Zeal Akaraiwe.
First Securities Brokers Limited, which has established itself among the Nigerian Exchange Limited’s top-performing brokerages in terms of trading activity and transaction volumes, has selected John Akpeki as Chairman. His international marketing and networking expertise will be complemented by fellow board members Omolara Adeyemi, Susan Younis, and Kemi Andu-Alausa.
First Trustees Limited, with its four-decade legacy in trust and estate administration, has appointed John Lee as Board Chairman.
