Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi is being negotiated to be signed by German club Eintracht Frankfurt from Czech team Viktoria Plzen in January. The Bundesliga team is proposing €18 million for the player News.ng reports.
Durosinmi is viewed by Frankfurt as the perfect successor to Randal Kolo Muani, who left for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Bild reports state that Durosinmi had successful initial talks with The Eagles, with both Frankfurt and Viktoria Plzen discussing possible transfer fees.
This season, the 20-year-old Nigerian was playing well for the Czech team before he tore his knee ligament.
Frankfurt anticipates that he will be fully recovered in time for the January transfer window to open.
The striker, who is 1.92 meters tall, is renowned for both his strength and aerial skill as well as his ball-handling speed. Frankfurt may be looking for an all-around player in Durosinmi.
Frankfurt, though, should have to contend with rivalry from VfL Wolfsburg, another Bundesliga competitor. Frankfurt seems to be winning the race, though.
