Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has deleted all posts relating to politics from her Instagram page.
After losing the just-concluded gubernatorial elections, the actress-turned-politician took down all political posts concerning herself and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor.
Both politicians had contested under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for governor and deputy governor positions in Lagos state, respectively.

This comes after the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated PDP in the just concluded March 18, 2023, gubernatorial elections.
Sanwo Olu won with 762,134 votes, defeating the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who scored 312,329, followed by Abdul-Azeez Adediran with 62,449 votes.
Meanwhile, Funke Akindele’s ex-husband, JJC Skillz, has reacted to reports in the media claiming that he has re-married after his break-up with his ex-wife.
The music star has been in the news for purportedly tying the knot with a Kogi state native, Falilat Raji.
A blogger identified as Tosin Silverdamn claimed that JJC Skillz married the new wife in a private ceremony in Kano state.
