Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for his visionary leadership in spearheading the development of the Gateway International Agro Cargo and Passenger Airport.
Speaking to journalists at the airport after attending the commissioning of the Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance Studies and a book presentation event at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Gbajabiamila expressed admiration for the airport project and its potential to become a transportation hub for the South-West region.
He commended Governor Abiodun’s commitment to the airport project, noting that ”its completion would significantly boost air transportation in the region and contribute to the economic growth of Ogun State and neighbouring states.”
Gbajabiamila emphasized the transformative impact of the airport on the ease of doing business in the state and highlighted its potential to attract investment and stimulate economic development.
He praised the governor for his dedication and passion in executing the project, describing it as ”a testament to Abiodun’s visionary leadership.”
He noted the remarkable progress made in the construction of the airport within a relatively short period and commended the governor for his unwavering commitment to delivering on his promises to the people of Ogun State.
Gbajabiamila also commended Governor Abiodun’s administration for its transformative agenda, citing various infrastructural projects across the state as evidence of its commitment to development.
He expressed confidence in the governor’s ability to continue driving positive change and development in Ogun State.
