Google has released an update that streamlines the process of finding customised shopping results for consumers.
According to the tech giant’s announcement on Wednesday, customers can rate various products to receive style recommendations when purchasing clothing, shoes, and accessories.
According to a Google user, you may now rate items with a thumbs up or down when you search for something on Google, such as “men’s polo shirts.” This new part is called “style recommendations.”
To rate the items, you can also swipe left and right, just like on Tinder. You can ignore an item if you’re not convinced about it. Following your product ratings, Google will present you with tailored results that you can review.
All American consumers who use mobile browsers and the Google app are starting to get access to the new feature. Google did not specify when or whether it intended to bring the feature to further nations.
According to the corporation, over a billion individuals shop on Google every day, and the search engine returns over 45 billion things. Google disclosed that it provides up-to-date pricing, in-stock availability, and delivery data to over two billion listings every hour.
The search engine has recently unveiled its Spring Try Guide, showcasing some of the most popular beauty and fashion queries that have been trending well ahead of spring.
(Google also asked celebrities like Jenna Lyons and Martha Stewart to help select some of their best picks, so you know they’re high quality.)
Virtual try-on capabilities for women’s shirts from Google brands such as Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M, and LOFT are also available to US consumers.
Simply select the model that most appeals to you by tapping products that have the “Try On” logo on Search.
