De Noble Club 10 has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to prominent Nigerian activist Hamzat Lawal for his generous sponsorship of their radio program on Jatto FM.
The sponsorship covered two quarters, ending in April 2024, and resulted in the airing of 24 episodes of public enlightenment programs aimed at benefiting the Egbira people.
In an official letter of appreciation, the President of De Noble Club 10, Abdulrazaq Onivehu Leramoh, said: “Your commitment to the welfare and development of our community and Egbiraland is sincerely appreciated and commendable.
“The sponsorship made a significant impact on the lives of our people and the government of the day.”
He added that the radio program, which focuses on various aspects of public enlightenment, has been a crucial platform for educating and informing the Egbira community on key issues.
“The support from Lawal has ensured the continuity and success of this initiative,” he added.
De Noble Club 10 also expressed hope for continued collaboration with Lawal, stressing their mission to advance the development of Egbiraland.
“As Oliver Twist, we would be knocking on your doors for more support and collaboration towards the development of our community – Egbiraland,” the letter concluded.
Lawal, known for his advocacy and activism, particularly in areas of transparency and good governance, is the founder of Connected Development and the grassroots accountability initiative, Follow The Money.
He recently congratulated Elvis Akpobi on his recent appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (Youth Mentoring and Development) by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
Lawal highlighted Akpobi’s exceptional leadership and vision as CEO of Nottooyoungtolead, predicting that he would leverage his expertise to make meaningful contributions to youth development in Delta State.
He praised Governor Oborevwori ”for his keen eye in recognizing Akpobi’s leadership potential and appointing him to the crucial position.”
