Singer Paul Okoye of the P-Square group has reacted to the lingering scarcity of the new naira notes across the country.
The musician disclosed that he recently paid N70,000 to get N40,000 new notes.
He disclosed via his Instastories that he had to buy money to pay a visa fee at an embassy.

Paul wrote:
“Oooh!!! I buy money today!! Just because I have to pay for a certain visa fee in an embassy and it has to be paid in cash. Joke apart, I bought 40k with 70k. Aahhhh!!!!!!!! Naija breaking new records.”
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels got a backlash from Nigerians after she shared a video showing her sons depositing the new naira notes into a piggy bank.
In a now-deleted clip, the mother of two said saving in piggy banks has been one of her best habits and she wants to impact the same in the lives of her boys at an early stage.
The mother of two and her children were seen in the footage unwrapping bundles of new notes and putting them inside the savings box.
