Gangling Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has revealed that he prefers to play in Spain or Germany than the much-followed English Premier League (EPL).
The striker who made the revelation in a chat with the media stated that he had mentioned before that he did not like the EPL even before he got his international passport.
Boniface declared that he prefers to play in Spain or Germany but that does not mean he will refuse the chance to play in the EPL if a big team comes calling for his signature.
“I did an interview before; I’m not saying it because I’m at this level; I’ve been saying it before I even had an international passport or before coming to Europe that I don’t like the Premier League. I prefer German and Spanish football,” he told Sporty TV.

“I’m not saying if a top team comes for me, I won’t go, but if you ask me the two countries I’d love to live and play in, it’s Germany and Spain.”
This comes weeks after Boniface said that Nigerian football fans are hard to please as they always have something to say about the team especially when the national team loses.
Boniface, who gave the hint in a chat with the Nigerian media stated that even if Spanish coach Pep Guardiola is the coach of the Super Eagles, the fans will still have something to say.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker however stated that as a player, his job is to give his all on the pitch of play as he is not the type that cares about what people think or say.
