President Tinubu has informed the G20 Summit members in India that he is prepared to attract business and investment opportunities to Nigeria.
As part of his official visit to India before the G20 Summit on Saturday and Sunday, the President arrived in Delhi, the nation’s capital, on Tuesday.
He was invited on the special invitation of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The President is expected to speak and deliver keynote addresses at both the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable.
According to a statement by his spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu also urged investors to come invest in Nigeria
He also told the summit participants that Nigeria will become one of the most profitable and job-creating countries on the planet.
The president, who also met with Gopichand Hinduja, Chairman and CEO of the Hinduja Group of Companies, reaffirmed that with his support, nothing will stand in the way of investors harnessing the unparalleled opportunities presented by his country’s massive market and the ingenious and hardworking nature of the Nigerian people.
“We are here for business. I am here to personally assure our friends and investors that there is no bottleneck that I will not break. Nigeria will become one of the most conducive places on earth to make good profits and create lasting jobs.
“With my support, there is nothing standing in your way of enjoying the unrivalled opportunities presented by our massive market and the ingenious & hardworking nature of the Nigerian people. We are open for business,” the President said.
